Healthy Children's fund in Whatcom County

Whatcom County Proposition 5: The Healthy Children's Fund will appear on Whatcom County ballots in November. If the voters approve, this will create a dedicated local fund for children & family issues with a special focus on adding more high quality & affordable childcare. The measure was drafted through deep community engagement over several years and includes robust accountability. Three of the measure's framers—Ray Deck III, Emily O'Connor, and Heather Flaherty—will present about its aims and design.
