As a club, we are so excited by the many ways that we get to serve our student community.  From scholarships for continuing education and packing backpacks of food for elementary students, to helping to fund building and athletic programs, the list of our involvement in student-centered projects goes on and on.  We feel honored to be a part of each activity.

As a club, we are so excited by the many ways that we get to serve our student community.  From scholarships for continuing education and packing backpacks of food for elementary students, to helping to fund building and athletic programs, the list of our involvement in student-centered projects goes on and on.  We feel honored to be a part of each activity.
Then on November 8th our on-going service to students was paid forward to us!  After reaching out to Lynden High School for a few students to help with the tree planting around the new sports park, the school organized an army.  Over 140 students signed up to be part of the planting project.  Mind you this was a Friday off of school for these students.  But they came, worked hard, did the job well and gave of themselves for the community.  Over two days, the 140+ students and other volunteers planted over 700 trees along Fishtrap Creek.
With all the monetary and business services that have been donated or discounted to this project, it was a blessing to see students doing their part also.  This is the type of boots on the ground volunteerism that reminds us of the great community that we live in.

Check out the video that was put together from the November 8th planting day.
